Who will own the green economy?
Investment is flowing into renewable energy, transition minerals, green infrastructure and new industries — but who will capture the value it creates? Will the transition concentrate wealth and costs, or lower the price of essentials, create good jobs and build productive capacity across countries? Drawing on the International Panel on Inequality commissioned by South Africa’s G20 Presidency, and emerging national approaches, this conversation will explore who owns, pays for and benefits from the green economy.
