​Citizens of AI is a community-powered initiative rooted in a bold idea: the community is the new college. As artificial intelligence reshapes work, creativity, business, and culture, access to AI education and opportunity can no longer live only inside traditional institutions. It must exist in neighborhoods, creative spaces, community centers, libraries, and everyday conversations.

​Created by REBRANDX in partnership with the Knight Foundation, Citizens of AI is designed to help everyday people understand, explore, and build with AI through hands-on experiences, workshops, conversations, and collaborative projects. The initiative empowers entrepreneurs, creators, students, professionals, and residents to move from simply consuming technology to actively shaping the future with it.

​This is not about teaching people to fear AI. It is about helping communities build the confidence, literacy, and creative intelligence to participate in the new intelligence economy. Citizens of AI believes the future belongs to communities that learn together, build together, and create together.
