FuturesWild x Earthly x Regen City - London Climate Action Week Rewilding Tour & BBQ - 2.30pm to 8pm
Harold's Park Wildland is excited to host a Rewilding Tour and BBQ on Wednesday 24th June as part of London Climate Action Week. With thanks to our sponsors FuturesWild, Earthly and Regen City, we'll be spending an afternoon getting out of the city into nature, learning about rewilding on the ground and finishing off with a tasty BBQ.
Our closest rail station is Broxbourne station, which is 30 mins from London Liverpool Street and a short taxi ride to the site.
About the tour
Nattergal's third site, Harold's Park is a stunning grassland landscape with a fascinating history and views to the City of London skyline. On this 2.5 hour tour you’ll gain an insight into our long term vision for Nature and the steps needed to achieve that vision. Together with your guide you’ll explore the landscape and discover some of the early signs of Nature recovery. From woodlands to grasslands, we’ll hike across mixed terrain, veering away from the standard footpaths.
Please note: Our tours cover approximately 2-3 miles of wildland. You'll need a reasonable level of fitness and be able to cope with uneven ground. Sturdy walking boots are recommended. On wet days, wellies are a necessity.
About the BBQ
Our BBQ will be cooked by a local chef - using wild venison from our own site. There will be veggie and vegan options available, please purchase the correct ticket type so we know numbers.
