About Event

Curious about Solana, blockchain, or Web3? Come join us for the first Solana workshop at IIIT Guwahati! Or just show up for free pizza and Coke. 🍕🥤

We're kicking things off with an introduction to Solana, why we're building this community, and how you can get started. We'll set up our development environments, explore the ecosystem, and brainstorm ideas for projects we could build together.

What to expect:

Introduction to Solana and its ecosystem
Setting up your development environment
Understanding why we're here and what we'll be building
Brainstorming ideas for projects we could build together
A simple hands-on assignment where you'll arrange blocks in a puzzle
Meeting fellow students interested in exploring and building with Solana
Free pizza and Coke (and maybe some AI or RPC credits!)

No prior experience required! Whether you're into tech, startups, crypto, or simply curious about what blockchain is all about, you're welcome. And if you're just coming for the pizza, we won't judge. 👀

📅 Sunday, October 18 | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

📍 LG2, Academic Building, IIIT Guwahati

💻 Bring your laptop for the hands-on session.

Come curious, meet new people, grab some pizza, and maybe discover something you'll want to build! 🌱
