What could you make—not buy—this Christmas?
A digital gift full of shared memories? A Secret Santa tool for your friends? A planner that makes your holiday a little less chaotic?
Spend a Saturday afternoon learning the basics of vibe coding—using everyday language to build with AI—and turning one idea into a first version.
We’ll think it through on paper first, then build with Lovable, swap ideas with others and share what we’ve made. No coding experience needed. Bring something you’d love to make, for yourself or someone you love.
You could make:
A personalised digital gift, like a “12 reasons I love you” page with your photos, or a quiz about your best friend’s year
A Secret Santa draw with wishlists
A shared holiday trip planner
A gift budget tracker
A family Advent countdown
Something to help your work Christmas party run smoothly, like an RSVP and dietary list or a gift-swap game
The theme is a starting point, not a gate. Have another idea? Bring it. The method works for anything.

Follow a live, guided walkthrough using Lovable
Build your holiday idea into a first version you can use this Christmas
Build alongside other festive builders. Hearing how someone else would use your gift or planner often turns a good idea into one people love. You’ll swap ideas along the way and share a short demo at the end.

Group size: Up to 12 people
Included: 30 Lovable credits per person
Tickets: Early bird HK$480 (until [19 Nov]) · Standard HK$580 · Mind Made alumni HK$440

FAQ
Do I need to know how to code?
No. We’ll guide you through the process; the focus is on your idea and the experience you want to create.
Do I need to arrive with an idea?
Yes, but it can be rough. Come with an initial idea of what you’d like to build. You’re welcome to change it on the day.
Who qualifies for the alumni ticket?
Anyone who has attended a Mind Made session. Eligibility will be checked after registration.
What if the event is sold out?
Join the waitlist. If a place opens, we’ll contact people in order. If no place becomes available, you won’t be charged.
Your host
Sharon Ng is the founder of Mind Made. She helps people bring design and product thinking to AI, so they build from their own ideas—not the AI's version of them. She has guided 150+ non-technical people to build with AI across Mind Made, SheBuilds and Global Service Jam HK. Sharon is also an ambassador for Service Design Network and Women Techmakers, and co-lead of Facilitation Lab Hong Kong. Her vision is a world where everyone, technical or not, has a say in how AI changes their life.
