About Event

We’ve been sold a very strange story about happiness.

That we should pursue it.
That success will create it.
That purpose guarantees fulfilment.
That more choices lead to better lives.

And yet many people today feel more overwhelmed, stressed, and dissatisfied than ever.

So what’s really going on?

In this interactive session for International Happiness Day, we’ll unpack some of the biggest myths about happiness and explore what research from psychology and neuroscience actually reveals.

The key insight you’ll walk away with:

Happiness is a set of skills we can train.

Together we’ll explore:

• why chasing happiness can actually make us less happy
• what money can and cannot buy when it comes to wellbeing
• why too many choices exhaust our brains

• the habits that genuinely increase wellbeing
• practical ways to start training happiness in everyday life

This will be a down-to-earth and interactive conversation, not a lecture. Expect small reflections, practical insights, and space for discussion.

Participation is free. During the session I’ll share a voluntary donation link for those who feel inspired to contribute. The funds will support children affected by the war in Ukraine.

Acts of generosity are also one of the most powerful ways to cultivate happiness and connection :)
