Coding Round Hackathon Process & Rounds 🔹 Round 1: Online Quiz – AI & ML Fundamentals Format: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

Duration: 20–30 minutes

Content: AI/ML fundamentals Python basics Algorithms Data preprocessing, modeling, and ethics in AI

Purpose: Screening for basic understanding and theoretical knowledge

Mode: Online via Unstop

Eliminations: Top ~30–40% progress to Round 2

Round 2: Problem Statement Submission (Idea Phase) Format: Idea Proposal

Final Round: Live Demo & Jury Presentation Format: Virtual/Live Presentation (10–15 mins per team)

Everything you need to know about Aithon Guidelines Team Composition Team Size: 1 to 4 members.

Inter-college Teams: ✅ Allowed

Inter-specialization Teams: ✅ Allowed (e.g., CS + Design + MBA)

Solo Participation: ✅ Allowed

Eligibility: Open to undergraduate, postgraduate, and recent graduates (2023–2025).

Participants must have basic programming knowledge.

AI experience is not mandatory, but encouraged.

Format & Rounds Round 1 – Qualifier (MCQ & Basic Coding) 20 MCQs + 2 coding problems

Focus: Logic, basic AI, data structures

Duration: 90 minutes

Platform: Online

Round 2 – Hackathon Round (Problem Statement Build) Shortlisted teams will choose one of 3 AI-themed problem statements.

24 hours to build a prototype solution.

Expected Deliverables:

Codebase (GitHub link or ZIP)

Documentation (Readme or brief design note)

Optional: Video demo (2–3 mins)

Final Round – Presentation & Demo (Top 10 teams) Teams present to a jury (industry & academic experts).

Evaluation: Technical feasibility, innovation, AI integration, and impact.

Mode: Virtual live presentation (15 mins/team)

Evaluation Criteria Innovation & Creativity – 25%

AI Application & Technical Depth – 30%

Code Quality & Documentation – 20%

Feasibility & Impact – 15%

Presentation & Clarity – 10%

Rules General Rules Each participant/team must register individually using the official registration form.

Teams must adhere to the submission deadlines; late entries will not be evaluated.

Plagiarism or code copied from open-source platforms without attribution will lead to disqualification.

AI-generated code (via tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) must be disclosed and documented clearly.

All submissions should include a README explaining: Project overview Tools and technologies used AI models or APIs integrated Team roles

AI-Specific Rules Use of pre-trained models is allowed, but innovation in implementation will be rewarded.

Explain clearly how AI/ML is enhancing your solution.

If using datasets, ensure they are publicly available or ethically sourced.

Solutions must be explainable (not just a black box).

Team Conduct Respectful communication is mandatory across all interactions and platforms.

Use of offensive or inappropriate content in solutions, names, or communication will result in disqualification.

Judges’ decisions will be final and binding.
