The Intelligent Enterprise: Java, Data & AI Agents in Action
AI is changing how enterprises build software, work with data, and turn ideas into action. But what does it take to bring these technologies together into systems that are intelligent, scalable, and ready for the real world?
Join us for an evening of technical insights and practical engineering perspectives exploring the technologies shaping the intelligent enterprise.
Across three talks, we'll look at how data platforms can enable actionable intelligence and agentic AI, how GraalVM can help Java applications thrive in the AI era, and how AI agents can become part of a production-ready software development lifecycle.
Whether you work with Java, data engineering, machine learning, or AI-assisted development, expect real-world perspectives, thoughtful technical discussion, and a chance to connect with fellow technology enthusiasts.

Meet the Speakers & Explore the Talks
Talk #1: Building a Data Platform for Actionable Intelligence and Agentic AI
Betina Stavreva | Senior Machine Learning Engineer
AI systems are only as useful as the data and infrastructure that support them. How can we build data platforms that turn information into actionable intelligence and create a strong foundation for agentic AI?
In this talk, Betina will explore the role of data platforms in bringing machine learning and AI capabilities closer to real-world use. The session will look at the foundations needed to make data useful, operational, and ready to support systems that can reason and act.
About Betina
Betina is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer passionate about building impactful products and delivering real-world value through machine learning. With a background in Computer Vision research, her experience combines MLOps, data engineering, and building systems that bring machine learning into production.
Talk #2: GraalVM: The Turbo Button for Java in the AI Era
Petromir Dzhunev | Senior System Architect
As AI reshapes the software landscape, performance, efficiency, and deployment choices remain important engineering considerations. What can GraalVM bring to Java applications in this new era?
Petromir will explore GraalVM and its potential role in modern Java development, looking at how technology choices can support efficient, high-performance applications as teams adapt to the demands of AI-enabled software.

Talk #3: Agents Propose, Humans Approve: Shipping Production Java with an AI SDLC
Stefan Angelov | Lead Engineer & Founder, CodeBefore
AI agents are increasingly capable of contributing to software development. But how do we use them responsibly while maintaining the quality, reliability, and engineering judgment required for production systems?
Stefan will explore how AI agents can fit into a software development lifecycle, from proposing changes to supporting implementation, while keeping human review and approval central to shipping production Java. The session will consider how teams can use AI-assisted workflows without losing sight of sound engineering practices.
About Stefan
Stefan is the founder and lead engineer of CodeBefore, with over 10 years of experience in fintech and gaming. He specializes in scalable distributed systems, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and AWS, with a growing focus on AI-assisted software development and agent workflows.
