​About the Event

​Discover promising early-stage startups, hear founders pitch their businesses, and connect with investors and members of Orange County's entrepreneurial ecosystem.

​As part of OC Tech Week 2026, Startup Steroid, SGC Angels, and Sunstone are bringing together founders, investors, industry leaders, and startup enthusiasts for an engaging Startup Pitch Fest designed to spotlight emerging businesses and encourage meaningful connections.

​Ten preselected startups will present their ventures to a panel of four judges, sharing their business models, market opportunities, traction, and growth plans. Each founder will have three minutes to pitch, followed by five minutes of questions from the judges.

​Whether you're an investor looking to discover emerging opportunities, a founder seeking to learn from fellow entrepreneurs, or an ecosystem participant interested in the next generation of businesses, this event offers an opportunity to engage with Orange County's startup community.

​What to Expect

• ​10 selected startups presenting their businesses.

• ​Live startup pitches with three minutes per presentation.

• ​Interactive Q&A with five minutes of questions following each pitch.

• ​Four-member judging panel, featuring representatives nominated by the organizing partners.

• ​Networking opportunities with founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders.

​Event Format

​Each participating startup will have eight minutes on stage: three minutes to pitch and five minutes for Q&A.

​The event is expected to run for approximately 3 hours, including introductions, startup presentations, judging, and networking.
