Too much or not enough? Water and Climate Whiplash
Host: WaterAid
WaterAid invites you to an interactive session to examine how extreme climate shifts affect access to clean water.
The session will open with a screening of the short documentary 'Water is Coming: 75 years on the frontline of climate change' exploring the impact of climate change on water access in southern Bangladesh.
We will then move into a panel discussion with interdisciplinary environmental social scientist, Dr Sonia Hoque, WaterAid Lead Climate Policy Analyst, Helen Rumford, and environmentalist, CSR expert and WaterAid Climate Young Leader, Joy Nwaeze. We will then open the room for an interactive discussion on how we can unlock the solutions to the climate and water crises.
The session will be chaired by WaterAid's Executive Director of Communications and Fundraising, Jennie York, and will provide an opportunity to connect with climate and water experts, funders, and activists for collective problem solving.
Refreshments including tea, coffee, and cakes will be provided.
