Join us in the studio for a tender evening of stitching and conversation, adorning personalized photographs, journals, or postcards with cross stitch patterns to gift to love ones or decorate your walls.<3
Choose your own adventure— cross stitching onto a vintage postcard, journal, or your own photo. We'll go over the basics of cross stitching on paper, supply you with endless options for patterns, the materials to design your own, and everything you need to get started. Then we will leave you to follow your creative whims and stitch to your heart's conent!
Journals, postcards, all stitching materials, and a colorful backing up to 8.5x11 included with each according ticket type, but if selecting photo, you'll bring your own!
The truly perfect way to spend an autumn evening, crafting alongside other creative humans.
A complimentary bev provided, an snacks will be available for purchase.

Please note: you will make great progress during the gathering, but may have to finish your piece at home as this is a time intensive project!
Meet Your Host
Zibby T-W is a writer, maker, and public crier based in Brooklyn and Queens. When not at 20 grand ave, you can find them on a bike, a dance floor, or deep in some wikipedia page.
What can I expect from a club at RecCreate?
We design all of our clubs at RecCreate to feel like going over to a friend's apartment for a craft hang where they took care of grabbing all the materials and showed you the basics before the music starts bumping! Our emphasis is on process, play and community building, with conversation prompts throughout.
As with all RecCreate events, you can expect to go on this journey with a room full of lovely strangers. We’ll offer opportunities for connection throughout our time— encouraging the spirit of the collective. It is (so) much more fun to get to create together.
Getting Here
The venue is a ~hidden~ art studio located at 20 Grand ave in brooklyn on the 6th floor of a commercial building! When you arrive, buzz #604, push to open and take the elevator up to 6 (push the elevator button until it turns red.!!) Take a right out of the elevator, and a left at the end of the hallway. The door will be the first one on your right.
Cancelation Policy
Unfortunately for this event tickets are non-refundable/exchange-able! Please double check your calendar. In the event you are no longer able to make it, you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend or swap it on our ticket swap board. Just tell them to use your name!
Photography Disclaimer
Though we do our best to keep all photography / video to a minimum, please note all guests who attend consent to being photographed and videoed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes at the discretion of RecCreate Collective.
All guests must be 18+ to attend and though we love your pups, unfortunately cannot have them in the studio!
