Boba, Dumplings & Sake at Industry City Brooklyn
The Asian Women in Design Leadership group unites established and emerging leaders to create new pathways for authentic executive advancement.
This Sunday Funday social is curated to spark creativity and inspiration by getting us outside! We will start with boba & dumpling bites at Baolala (kid-friendly!) and take a shared moment to learn more about each of our paths that take root in our personal identities and experiences. From there, we can take a walk over to Brooklyn Kura to sip on some sake and yap some more (Must be 21+ for this portion.)
Our vision is a future where AWDL's command executive influence and shape industry standards with authenticity, especially at the intersections of Design & AI craft and as we manage and lead teams through change. Check out our initial soft launch and recent AAPI celebration at Hue House!

Who this event is for: If you identify as an Asian woman in design leadership at the Principal/Staff Designer+ level, or hold 10+ years of experience adjacent. This is to ensure there is relevance for participants in this event experience and conversational topics.
Size: Max of 8-10 RSVP's max to keep things manageable.
Venue Location: Meet up at Baolala from 11:30am-1pm (kid-friendly) and then shimmy over to Brooklyn Kura thereafter until 2pm. (Must be 21+, hopefully we can snag the tatami tables!)
An RSVP ticket will get you a non-refundable admission to this event (kids are complimentary) with some shared snacks/sweets. Any food/drink will be on a self-ordering basis on individual separate tabs. All proceeds from ticketing will go towards supporting our community's treasury for future events and operational funding.
