​This July, we are dropping you into a completely new format: UXperiment Lab Hackathon: The Collaboration Shield. It is a phygital, gamified 6-hour hackathon where AI and design meet live gameplay.

​🛡️ The Challenge: Designing "Psychological Safety"

​When people work together on design projects using apps like Figma, they often show their work to each other live. Sometimes this is really stressful! It can feel like everyone is judging you, which makes it hard to come up with cool new ideas. We want to make sure everyone feels safe and happy while sharing their work.

​Your mission is to work with your team to design an AI-driven feature or plugin that turns stressful, real-time feedback loops into constructive learning experiences. The best solution won't just look good. It'll feel psychologically safe to use.

​🎮 The Concept: A Hackathon Built Like a Game

​You will sit with your team in our physical venue, generously hosted by our sponsor tms London. While you are collaborating in person, your workspace will be connected to a live 2D Virtual Sandbox. Every milestone your team smashes earns you $XP (Experience Points) in real time.

​Climb the live leaderboard or spend your $XP in our Sandbox Marketplace to unlock tactical advantages, advanced AI prompt shields, or even real-world coffee and snack boosts delivered straight to your physical table.
