​The FREE ICT TRAINING FOR ALL program is a community-driven digital literacy and economic empowerment initiative designed to eliminate barriers to technology access. Operated by the SMG IT Team, this program provides hands-on digital skills training to help participants work, learn, advertise, and earn in today's modern economy.

​Whether you are completely new to computers or looking to harness Artificial Intelligence, graphic design, web technology, and cybersecurity for work and business, this 8-week structured pathway guides you step-by-step from foundational digital safety to practical digital skills.

​🎯 Who Should Register?

​Our program operates an open-door policy with no age limits or formal academic prerequisites. This training is specially designed for:

• ​Youth & Job Seekers: Build marketable skills, format CVs, navigate job portals, and learn introductory coding and web concepts.

• ​Market Traders & Small Business Owners: Learn to set up WhatsApp Business catalogues, create promotional Canva graphics, run social media ads, and conduct Mobile Money (MoMo) transactions safely.

• ​Farmers & Artisans: Use smartphones to check weather updates, monitor market prices, and connect directly with online buyers.

• ​Teachers & Public Workers: Automate manual administrative processes using Microsoft Office productivity software.

• ​Beginners & Senior Citizens: Overcome digital anxiety, learn basic smartphone mechanics, and protect against online scams, phishing, and fraud.

​📚 What You Will Learn (8-Week Curriculum Pathway)

​Our curriculum follows a progressive 4-level ladder delivered across 8 Saturday sessions:

• ​Level 1 — Digital Literacy Basics, Cyber Security & MoMo Safety (Week 1):
  Smartphone mechanics, creating and managing Gmail accounts, effective Google searching, and essential Cyber Security & MoMo Safety (preventing Mobile Money fraud, anti-phishing, and scam protection).

• ​Level 2 — Productivity Tools & File Management (Weeks 2–3):
  Practical training in Microsoft Word (document formatting), Excel (data tables, basic formulas), PowerPoint (presentations), keyboard typing efficiency, and secure file organisation.

• ​Level 3 — Online Work, Graphic Design & Digital Business (Weeks 4–5):
  Setting up WhatsApp Business product catalogues, social media marketing (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), Graphic Design with CorelDRAW, e-commerce fundamentals, and introduction to online freelancing.

• ​Level 4 — Advanced Web/App Development Concepts, AI Safety & Auditing (Weeks 6–8):
  Introduction to Everyday AI Tools, AI Safety & Digital Auditing (verifying AI outputs and operating safely online), Graphic Design Principles, Basic Web Design & Introductory Coding Concepts, and issuance of Verifiable Micro-Credentials.
