The Own Your Voice Vision is simple— to create a world where each and every one of us feels empowered to speak up and share our ideas. A world where we lean into our curiosity, engage in critical discussions, and wrestle through the messy middles.
Share what brings you down the rabbit hole, present bizness ideas that don’t feel ready yet, or share a bit of your life story that still blows you away.
We're creating a space for your stories and perspectives to meet others, so we may leave feeling a little inspired, enlightened, or even challenged.
How it works:
We’ll have 4 presenters for the session. Presentation topics are thoughtfully curated and intentionally diverse. Scroll down below to get a hint on what each topic entails, then come, and be surprised :)
As the audience, we lean in— connect with their stories, listen to their insights, and get curious about our own opinions about the topic.
We’ll then break out into lightly facilitated discussions to share our point of view and exchange stories.
What kind of topics?
We're still in the midst of curating the topics. Every session has 3-4 very different topics, so there's definitely a topic you'll relate to. The topics are usually centred around life's challenges, interpersonal relationships, culture and identity.
