​A Night Around the Fire for Founders Building the Next Era

​Our events became key startup gatherings in Lisbon, bringing together top founders, C-level executives, and investors from companies such as Nebius, Circle, Bitwise, Human Signal, Zendesk, AltaIR Capital, and Indico Capital.

​Previous events focused on AI & Web3, AI & SaaS; now we will discuss The Race for Europe's Digital Money: Stablecoins, the Digital Euro, and the Transparency Bill Coming Due.

​Two things just happened that nobody has connected yet. A consortium of 37 European banks confirmed it will launch its euro stablecoin on the public Ethereum blockchain: a genuine bet on the future of European payments. At the same time, new EU rules quietly went live requiring crypto companies to report every transaction to tax authorities. One story is about building faster, freer money. The other is about making sure nothing on that money moves untracked.

​Who actually benefits from a bank-built euro stablecoin: companies, payment providers, or everyday users?

​Does the ECB's own digital euro make private stablecoins obsolete, or do the two need each other to work?

​And as freelancers and gig workers increasingly get paid in stablecoins, is Europe's tax-reporting infrastructure actually ready, or is this the next major compliance headache hiding in plain sight?
