Before Your First Coffee: Build an AI Assistant That Gets Your Day Ready.
A hands-on talk on using Claude and Cowork to sort the morning noise of emails, tasks and daily planning, so you can focus on the work that matters.
Duration:
45 minutes, plus 15 minutes for questions.
What to expect
This is a live build, not a slide deck. You’ll watch a morning brief get made from nothing, and by the end it runs on its own every day at nine and lands in Slack before you log in.
We start where most of us already are. You open Slack, then your calendar, then email, working out what happened while you were away. And something you meant to come back to slips through anyway. That half hour is what we hand over to AI.
You’ll see, in order:
An AI given no context at all, and why the answer is useless
The same question with your actual morning attached, and what changes
Connecting it to Slack and a calendar, so it stops asking and goes and looks
A straight conversation about what is safe to connect, what is not, and the one question to take back to your own company
Teaching it your routine once, so you never explain it again
Putting it on a schedule, so it runs without you
The finished brief arriving in Slack, on your phone, before you open a laptop
Five other things you could point it at
No code at any point, and nothing to install. You don’t need to have used Claude before, and you don’t need to follow along live. Watch it happen, then take the files home and set up your own in about ten minutes.
