HARD RESET Presents: Down With Tech Comedy Night

​Are you a tech worker who likes to see oligarchs poked fun of a little bit during your off-hours? Do you want to “convulse with laughter”? Do you have thicker skin than a Saudi prince? 

​While some comics are heading to Saudi Arabia for the Riyadh Comedy Fest, we’re still here in New York, the comedy capital of the world, with the rest of the comics–and we’ve put together a fun event for you right before the holiday party season gets too wild.

​Hard Reset is a new publication on Substack that covers how technology really works — not just the products, but the people and power shaping it. We’re here for those inside and around the industry: workers pushing for fair treatment, founders navigating change, and anyone curious about how tech’s decisions ripple across society. On December 2nd, we’re hosting a cocktail hour with some comedy and music in the East Village. 

​Our headlining comedian is Nathan Macintosh, who has performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on NBC, The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on CBS, Conan on TBS, and multiple Just For Laughs galas. He has a YouTube special called “Down With Tech.” 

​Nathan will perform a set starting at 7 PM, for which you can buy tickets by registering above. After comedy, anyone can come by to grab a drink and meet all kinds of people: technologists, entrepreneurs, artists, lawyers, journalists, investors, writers, and philanthropists. 

​Tickets to the comedy are first-come, first-served. If you find yourself waitlisted, feel free to come by to see if anyone has dropped out, and stick around the neighborhood until 8 pm or so for the party. After the comedy, hang with us and listen to tunes until 10:30.
