About Event

AI-first software, WebMCP, and... humans?

Co-hosted with CityJS London

An evening on the other direction of AI engineering: not developers coding with agents, but what it takes to put agents in the hands of the people who use your product, and what breaks when you do.

Timings

18:00 Doors, drinks and pizza
18:30 Talks and panel
20:00 Drinks and mingling

Speakers

  • Josh Hobson is a developer at AG Grid, where he's been building AG Studio, a new dashboard library with multi-agent AI baked in. He's a mathematician by training and a maker by instinct, with a particular love for developer tooling, type systems and intelligent interfaces. Outside work he can be found tinkering with 3D printers, ski touring in the Alps, or on long walks with his dog.

  • Tara Ojo Agyemang is a developer relations engineer on Google's Chrome team, working on WebMCP and Modern Web Guidance: two efforts to make AI agents more effective at using and building websites. Her approach puts accessibility, browser compatibility, performance, privacy and human control at the centre of agent-assisted web development.

  • RL Nabors has spent two decades shaping how developers build for the web. They've contributed to W3C standards and MDN, taught a generation to "think in React" via the official React and React Native dev portals, and worked alongside browser teams at Mozilla, Microsoft and Google to push the web forward. Now they work on the Agentic Web, the emerging layer where AI assistants act on people's behalf, and where the decisions being made today will shape the next twenty years of the Internet. Through their studio Dressed for Space, they advise teams on agentic-web architecture and AI development workflows.

More speakers to be announced.
