Build a Business in 90 Minutes
Think you could turn an opportunity into a launch-ready business in one evening?
Join students from across Imperial for a 90-minute startup challenge powered by Accio Work by Alibaba International.
Accio Work is an AI business agent platform designed to help entrepreneurs with tasks such as market research, product discovery, supplier sourcing, competitor analysis, marketing and launch planning.
You'll form a team of 3–5 and either choose one of five challenge areas:
Student Life · Health & Fitness · Travel · Sustainability · Home & Lifestyle
or your own challenge area.
Then you'll have 90 minutes to:
Find an opportunity → understand the customer → develop the product/service → research the market → create the offer → plan your first customers → pitch
Your challenge:
Build a business concept that could realistically get its first paying customers within 30 days.
At the end, teams will pitch their businesses and a winning team will be selected.
Winning team: mentorship opportunity with the Accio Work / Alibaba ecosystem.
New Accio Work users will also receive 500 bonus Accio credits to use during the challenge.
No existing startup, technical background or team required. Come alone or bring friends — we can match participants into teams.
