​QuantumCT HQ Grand Opening and Chai & Quantum Series Kickoff | Conversations, Connections, and Curiosity

​QuantumCT invites you to its headquarters Grand Opening and series kickoff of Chai & Quantum on October 6, 2026 between 4:30-7:30pm at The Café @ 101 College in New Haven. We have added time for networking after the ribbon cutting.

​Chai & Quantum is a new community engagement initiative designed to make quantum science and technologies more accessible to students and the broader public. Through informal conversations, expert insights, and open dialogue, the series aims to increase awareness of quantum innovation while fostering connections among researchers, industry professionals, students, and community members.

​This inaugural event marks the grand opening and official launch of Chai & Quantum. To celebrate its debut, the program will feature Steven Girvin, Sterling Professor of Physics at Yale University, who will share perspectives on the rapidly evolving field of quantum science and its future impact. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussion, ask questions, and connect with others interested in the quantum ecosystem.

​Beyond the program itself, QuantumCT is celebrating our new home at 101 College Street, located in the heart of New Haven's innovation district. The space reflects the momentum building across Connecticut and serves as a gathering place for researchers, entrepreneurs, students, investors, industry leaders, and policymakers working together to advance the state's leadership in quantum technologies and related advanced industries.

​Directions from I-95 or I-91

​Take Downtown New Haven exit to Oak Street Connector

​Take left exit to the parking lot entrance. Follow directions to the lot for 100 College Street or the Air Rights Garage.

​If you do not take the left exit to the parking lots, you can alternatively access the Air Rights Garage from an entrance on Martin Luther King Blvd.

​The Air Rights Parking rates:

• ​Hourly: $4.00

• ​5-10 Hours max: $18.00

• ​11 Hours: $20.00

• ​12-24 Hours: $24.00

• ​Overnight max: $17.00

​100 College Street ramp rates:

• ​$5 per hour

• ​$35 up to 12 hours

• ​$70 Daily max
