ADC Play, Group Trip (Scenes From The Climate Era)
🌏 Inviting all Cambridge students to join a free group trip to see Scenes from the Climate Era, a play about the climate crisis, on Tuesday 12th May.
❓Why are we organising this?
Not everyone is up for a theatre trip in Easter term - those of you in need of a revision break, or with less on this term, may want others to go with! We encourage you to come solo (or with friends) and join us for the opening night!
🎟️ Tickets:
Green Officers and Green Society leaders will be prioritised if we get a lot of sign ups, otherwise there is scope for ANY student to join us!
By signing up (from 7th May onwards) you are committing to a ticket - you will be sent confirmation of this once they have been secured. You are welcome to get your own free ticket via this link, but the benefit of joining our group is that we’ll sit together and catch up before / after.
🗓️Can’t make the 12th?
If you want to go another night, the show runs 12-16th May and tickets can be bought here. They are around £12 for students on other nights.
Other students may be organising group trips for other nights if you’re going solo. Email sp2068 if you want more information about whether these are taking place, though I’ll try to update this page. Currently another group trip might be held on Friday 15th May (at your own cost).
If you’d like to organise your own group trip for another night (>10 students) you will received a “buy 9 get one free” offer via the website.

❗️What’s it about?
Fast paced and funny, unsettling and challenging, Scenes from the Climate Era is a darkly human response to the climate crisis told through a kaleidoscope of short scenes and contrasting characters. By weaving together moments of hope and humour, uncertainty and grief, the play resists simple narratives or solutions. Instead, it asks how to live with a crisis that is simultaneously omnipresent and somehow so easy to ignore.
Join us for a journey around the world and back again through the past, present, and future of the climate crisis: both as we know it and as we will.
