​Raul has built enterprise-grade AI systems, including RAG pipelines, custom LLM workflows, and autonomous agents for extracting insights from scholarly content. He also designs human-in-the-loop evaluation processes that blend truth validation and synthetic data to benchmark proprietary retrieval systems.

​Outside of Wiley, Raul founded and leads Nissy Labs, a research and education initiative that democratizes access to AI tools for underrepresented communities through workshops, creative projects, and consulting.
