​IITG.eth is a hackathon conducted by Finance and Economics Club, IIT Guwahati in collaboration with Ethereum foundation's Road to Devcon initiative.

​About Devcon

​Devcon is the Ethereum Foundation's flagship conference and one of the largest gatherings of the global Ethereum community. Every year, it brings together thousands of developers, researchers, students, and builders to explore cutting-edge ideas, share knowledge, and build the future of Ethereum.

​As part of the Road to Devcon Academic Program, this event aims to introduce students to Ethereum's latest technologies and research while giving them the opportunity to build real-world applications alongside the community.

​The theme of this hackathon is - Building Private apps using Ethereum. It will fold into 2 events : 1. Reading session/workshop 2. 2-day Hackathon.

​Reading Session/Workshop - It will cover the introduction to Private apps on Ethereum. Then, will explore the various developers toolkit built by Ethereum Researchers on building private apps such as Kohaku, Semaphore, Railgun etc.

​Followed by 2-day hackathon where teams comprising of 1-3 members will be building their ideas and products using those tools.
