About Event

Join us to hear from 8 Round 6 finalists innovating digital approaches to plan-making and evidence bases for Local Plans and Spatial Development Strategies!

Plan-making remains one of the most complex, resource-intensive, and fragmented processes in local government. From gathering technical evidence across regional boundaries to creating compatible policies, local planning authorities often struggle with incompatible data, inconsistent standards, siloed systems that can delay plan adoption.

At the same time, a new generation of PropTech innovators is developing tools designed to create shared spatial evidence bases, streamline data workflows, and support faster plan-making. The MHCLG PropTech Innovation Fund Round 6 aims to support that innovation.

In this joint webinar between Connected Places Catapult (CPC) and PUBLIC, we bring together local authorities, strategic planning authorities, and PropTech innovators to explore how digital technology can transform local plan-making and strategic development strategies.

The session will examine systemic barriers to procurement and opportunities for scaling PropTech tools in digital plan-making.

What to expect

8 live PropTech Round 6 pilots, AI Dash, Advanced Infrastructure, Bioregional, Blocktype, City Science, Esri UK, Prior + Partners, and SimAnalytica, will present an exclusive demo of their solutions for the first time.

This innovation spotlight will highlight the problem each is solving, what's being tested, the lessons learned so far, and where it could apply in plan-making.
