Calling all web developers, designers, filmmakers, photographers, artists, writers, entrepreneurs – and anyone doing their own thing in the creative or digital world.
PFMeet is a free networking group that’s been running since 2010, meeting every 2nd Thursday of the month. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space to chat with like-minded folks, make new connections, and feel part of the creative community in Portsmouth.

📍 Where: The Sir Loin of Beef, Highland Road – in the function room with access to a small outdoor patio.

Join us for a relaxed, low-key festive evening with the Portsmouth Freelancers crew! We’re keeping things fun, friendly and easy for everyone — come along, grab a drink, and unwind before the Christmas rush kicks in.

6pm — Arrive
Meet, mingle, and grab a drink. Our Post-it Wall will be live from the start — add your 2025 goals, learnings from this year, talk ideas, or something totally silly.
6–8pm — Festive Mingle & Switch games
8 player Switch games and icebreaker networking, grab a drink, a mince pie and get stuck in!
8–9pm — Interactive Quiz
Jo will be hosting a festive quiz you can join from your phone! It’s free to take part, with a prize for the winner 🎁
9–11pm — Free Play
Stick around for Nintendo Switch games (thanks Alex!), pool, and any other games we fancy.
It’s a chilled, festive hangout — perfect for freelancers who want to celebrate without the hard sell or awkward networking vibes.

Parking: Not gonna lie, bit of a nightmare around there due to permit zones. Nearest parking is a 10 minute walk (by Coffee Cup Eastney), but there are good pubic transport links and a bus stop outside.
