The MSU Innovation Celebration highlights the groundbreaking technologies, startups, and research emerging from Michigan State University. This annual event recognizes the vision and impact of MSU faculty, students, researchers, and inventors whose work is shaping solutions to real-world challenges and contributing to Michigan’s economic growth.

An MSU alumnus, entrepreneur, and philanthropic leader, Chad is the founder and CEO of Mammoth Distilling, a Michigan‑based company known for blending innovation, heritage, and economic impact. His work exemplifies how university–industry partnerships can translate research and discovery into real‑world solutions that strengthen communities, create jobs, and advance Michigan’s innovation economy.
In his keynote remarks, Chad will share his personal story of working with Michigan State University and reflect on how collaboration between universities and corporate partners can accelerate innovation, spark new opportunities, and deliver lasting public impact
