Take Away:
This pre-med movie night will feature Extremis, a Netflix documentary that follows physicians and families as they navigate difficult end-of-life decisions in the intensive care unit. Attendees will have the opportunity to reflect on topics such as patient autonomy, medical ethics, communication with families, and the emotional challenges healthcare providers may face when caring for critically ill patients. Snacks will be provided!
