Join faith leaders, environmental justice advocates, community partners, faculty, students and local residents to engage with the moral and spiritual dimensions of climate change, urban air quality, and concrete opportunities for collaboration between faith communities, community-based organizations, and Fordham's new Bronx Green Jobs Center (BGJC), through education, advocacy, workforce training, and wraparound supports.
Our confirmed panelists include:
Father Philip Judge, S.J. (Executive Director of Campus Ministry, Fordham University)
Imam Ammar Abdul Rahman (Director of Muslim Life, Fordham University)
Sandra Lobo (Executive Director, Northwest Bronx Community and Clergy Coalition)
Dr. Jack Gorman (Activist, Jewish Climate Action Network NYC and other organizations)
Dr. Lucy Cummings (Director of Faith Sector Resiliance, New York Disaster and Interfaith Services)
We hope you will join us for this collaborative, timely convening.
