as Berlin settles into its autumn rhythm, we’re bringing together a small group of FLINTA founders building venture-backed startups and investors for an evening centered around genuine connection.
Join us for legal insights, good drinks, and conversations that might lead to your next co-founder, investor, collaborator, or simply someone you’re glad you met.
A little legal know-how
Most founders only start thinking seriously about legal structure once a term sheet is on the table, or an investor asks a cap table question nobody in the room can answer cleanly. By then, topics like vesting, IP assignment, or dead equity can quietly become legal pitfalls.
Before we open the room for conversation, Jules, Marie and Simonie will share a short impulse talk on some of the most common legal pitfalls early-stage founders encounter. They work with VC-backed startups on IP/IT, venture capital, and corporate legal matters every day, and will bring a few practical lessons on on what’s worth getting right early without the fearmongering legal lecture. There’s no question too basic to ask. Just useful insights, and an open conversation among people who want to support each other in moving forward.
Who is this for?
Hosted by Auxxo, Grace, V14/Legal Starter Pack and LawYeah, the FLINTA Founder Aperitivo is designed for self-identified FLINTA founders building scalable, venture-backed companies and actively raising or preparing to raise capital, as well as investors who want to meet and support them.
We want this to feel candid, genuinely useful, and different from a typical startup networking event. A room built on curiosity where you don’t need to perform or have the perfect pitch ready, experience is shared openly rather than sold, and introductions are made because people genuinely think you should know each other.
That’s why we’re keeping the evening intentionally small and curating the guest list to create a trusted, relaxed setting for meaningful conversations with people you’ll want to speak to again.
