About Event

New York City. Sustainability. Superhero Lore.

Close out Climate Week NYC by getting out of the conference room and into the city.

bggr cr8v presents Nexpeditions SideQuests—comic-inspired urban adventures that transform New York City into a living story.

For our inaugural Superhero-level SideQuest, The City Steward: The Living City, we're exploring Manhattan's West Side to discover how New York continually reuses, reconnects, adapts, and reinvents itself.

YOUR MISSION

We'll begin at the Javits Center, travel through Hudson Yards, walk the High Line, explore Little Island, connect with the Hudson River Greenway, and finish at Chelsea Market.

Along the way, we'll explore:

🌱 Green infrastructure + urban sustainability
🚆 The rail infrastructure underneath Hudson Yards
🌿 Adaptive reuse along the High Line
🏙️ Architecture + public space
🚲 Walking, biking + alternative transportation
🌊 New York's evolving waterfront
♻️ Industrial spaces finding second lives
🦸🏽 Superhero lore + NYC's relationship with comics and the screen

But this isn't a lecture disguised as a walking tour.

It's a Side Quest.

Expect hidden Easter Eggs, interactive Hero Challenges, Hero Frame photo opportunities, independent exploration, storytelling, conversation, and plenty of things hiding in plain sight.

Our story follows one central thread:

Train yards → green infrastructure → walking → biking → adaptive reuse → public space → waterfront → reinvention.

Because sustainability isn't always about starting over.

Sometimes it's about asking:

What else could this become?

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Climate people. Designers. Creatives. Urbanists. Architects. Storytellers. Photographers. Comic fans. Students. Curious New Yorkers. Climate Week visitors.

Or anyone who spent enough of Climate Week sitting inside and would really like to go explore New York.

You don't need to be a sustainability expert or know every superhero's secret identity.

Curiosity is the qualification.

Team Marvel? Team DC? Team I Just Love Comics?

All welcome.

🎟️ FREE LAUNCH PILOT

This is the first public Nexpeditions Side Quest, and we're making the pilot completely free.
