A 60-minute working lunch inside the CVPR venue. Roughly 60 attendees, a short talk from our founding team on causal world models, and the rest of the hour is open conversation over food — about research directions, open problems, and the roles we're hiring for.

✨ What we're building
Aether AI is building a new class of AI systems that understand mechanisms, reason under intervention, and operate reliably in real-world systems. We call this class of models causal world models — they connect observation, latent state, mechanism, action, and outcome, so a system understands not only what is likely to happen, but what can be changed.
Our first proving ground is Physical AI: the decision brain between perception and control for robotics. The same principles extend to scientific discovery — biology, medicine, longevity — wherever progress depends on understanding mechanism, not just detecting patterns.
