TQX: Living Alpha, Building Trading Agents That Learn
Three hours, mostly hands on. Most AI trading strategies are one-shot: prompt in, signal out, forget everything. You’ll build one that isn’t. You leave with an AI trading agent that has context, memory, and a loop, your broker connected to TQX, and that agent entered in the Global AI Trading Championship, where 100,000 HKD can be won every month.
What’s TQX
TQX (tqx.ai) is an AI quant trading platform: data, fine-tuned models, backtesting, paper and live trading on HK and US equities, all in one place. Think of it as a coding agent for trading. Three ways in: CLI (build strategies from your own coding agent), Template (3 minutes to a working strategy), or AI Dialog (describe it in plain language, get a strategy).
What’s GATC
The Global AI Trading Championship is a year-long, AI-only, real-money competition running on top of TQX. Rolling registration, monthly scoring cycles, and over 6 million HKD in cash prizes:
100,000 HKD every month to the top of that cycle’s leaderboard
5 million HKD annually to the top performers over the full year
Plus a 10 million HKD follow-on capital program for the strongest strategies
Why agents, why now
A static strategy runs the same logic until the market moves past it. A living agent reads what’s happening, remembers what it did, and adjusts. We’ll build the three pieces that make the difference:
Context — what the agent sees each run: factor signals, prices, news, its own positions
Memory — what it carries forward: past trades, the reasoning behind them, and how they played out
Loops — how it thinks: reason, act, check the result, revise, on a schedule that keeps running after you close the laptop
What you’ll leave with
A connected account — TQX linked to your broker, order routing tested, ready to trade
A living agent — context, memory, and a reasoning loop, wired end to end and running on your own strategy logic
A GATC entry — registration confirmed, agent submitted to the next scoring cycle
A path forward — how scoring works, when cycles close, where the community lives
The day
1:45 — Doors. TAs on the floor from the start, so credential screens don’t eat your afternoon.
2:00 — Why static strategies plateau, plus one live agent build end to end (20 min)
2:20 — Broker connection clinic. Tiger Brokers, Zhangle Global, and Panda Securities users go live. Everyone else opens a simulation account and walks the same flow. (30 min)
2:50 — Build your agent: context, then memory, then the loop. One on one help throughout (75 min)
4:05 — Submit to the cycle and register for GATC (20 min)
4:25 — Q&A and networking
No slide marathon. One short demo, then we’re at your laptop.
Brokers
Live today:
In development: Futu. If that’s your broker, you’ll build and submit in simulation and connect when the integration ships.
Before you come
Trading on Tiger, Zhangle Global, or Panda and don’t have an account yet? Open it now, links above. Approval and KYC take days and we can’t shortcut it in the room.
Bring a laptop, your broker login, the device your 2FA lives on, and photo ID.
Everyone else, come anyway. You’ll build the same agent, submit it in simulation, and be first in line when Futu goes live.
Who this is for
AI/ML engineers, agent builders, developers, retail-algo traders, and quant-curious builders. You’ll get the most out of it if you’ve built with LLMs or agents before, can read basic Python, or have any markets background.
Eligibility
GATC participants must be 18+, legally able to trade securities in HK, and hold a brokerage account in their own name. GATC trades real money and you can lose it. Only connect capital you can afford to lose, and size your first cycle accordingly.
