culture sniffers @ adac 60th anniversary exhibition
join us saturday, june 13th for a tour of the art dealers association of canada (adac)’s 60th anniversary exhibition. this major group exhibition celebrates a monumental milestone in canadian art history.
hosted by culture sniffers founder, catriona reid, this is our first ever event outside of amsterdam, and will take place at bau-xi gallery (dufferin) in toronto.
we’ll explore a curated cross-section of the country’s visual landscape, featuring significant artworks from 52 adac member galleries across canada spanning from the 1800s to the present day.
following the tour, we’ll head over to blood brothers brewing to keep the conversation flowing.

founded in 1966, the art dealers association of canada (adac) is the country's leading network of major private commercial galleries. for 60 years, the organization has set the standard for professionalism, ethics, and community within the canadian art market. beyond supporting artists and galleries, adac advocates for cultural preservation, including the united nations declaration on the rights of indigenous peoples, while providing vital industry expertise, foundation awards, and fine art appraisal services.
about the host gallery:
established in vancouver in 1965, bau-xi gallery is the oldest commercial gallery in vancouver and is recognized as one of canada’s most highly regarded art spaces. the gallery expanded to toronto in 1976 and has been a member of the art dealers association of canada since the early 1970s. their expansive 20,000-square-foot flagship dufferin street location serves as the ideal location for this historic, cross-country anniversary exhibition.
