​BISTRO OCHO MODERN MEXICAN ON CALLE OCHO IN LITTLE HAVANA INTRODUCES THE FIRST DISCO DISCADA

​The first Disco Discada will be held on Halloween night honoring Dia de Muertos

​WHEN: October 31, 2025 11PM - 3AM WHAT: Disco Discada at Bistro Ocho in Little Havana is a new monthly after hours party and immersive experience inspired by the glamour of vintage American nightclubs and the traditions of Mexico. The night features surprises designed to be shared and remembered — with some mysteries left to the night itself.

​The inaugural edition will be held on Friday, Halloween night, in celebration of Dia de Muertos and guests are encouraged to dress in Day of the Dead/Disco attire. While the event is invite only, there will be an equal opportunity for all patrons to request access via the guestlist portal: https://discodiscada.com.

​Guests will enjoy a cash bar. For large groups of 5+, there are only four VIP table reservations available, priced at $500 for up to two hours or until the bottle service concludes. Parking for the event is convenient with a valet service offered at $15 per car. Sounds will be curated by DJ LaRoutine, spinning a vinyl-only set filled with Nu-Groove and underground disco tracks. A spontaneous "Discada" dish will be served between 12:30 AM and 1 AM. This dish will be presented in a communal, self-serve format and will be available until it's gone. The bar will feature a carefully curated selection of signature cocktails, in addition to a variety of beers and wines.

​ABOUT BISTRO OCHO: Led by chef Pancho Ibáñez, former Chef de Cuisine of Pujol in Mexico City, Bistro Ocho is a new upscale Mexican restaurant on Miami’s famed Calle Ocho. Opened in January 2025 by Shōwa Hospitality (the teambehind Miami's celebrated omakase, Hiden), the restaurant aims to elevate Mexican cuisine with a modern, sophisticated approach. Ibáñez, originating from Xalapa in Veracruz, brings a wealth of experience from various Mexican hospitality brands. His menu highlights traditional Mexican flavors reimagined with a modern touch, prioritizing the use of high-quality ingredients and approachable refinement—embodying the philosophy “simple pero ni sencillo” (Simple but not easy). The design of Bistro Ocho was crafted by Minoru Oyamatsu of Oyamatsu Design Studio Inc. from Tokyo. The 1,700-square-foot space seats 40 diners and features a bright, colorful, airy ambiance. With 10 bar seats and a sound system built by Kazunori Taguchi of Taguchi Craft in Japan, with speakers made from Arctic birch trees aged between 70 and 160 years, Bistro Ocho offers a lively dining experience that matches the energy of the vibrant Calle Ocho. Located next to the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand Sanguich and acclaimed The Taco Stand, Bistro Ocho is the third concept from Shōwa Hospitality in Miami, showcasing a refined yet inviting atmosphere that complements its innovative culinary offerings, making it a notable addition to Miami’s dynamic dining scene.
