The Government of Odisha, in partnership with the Singapore-based Global Finance and Technology Network (GFTN), has launched the BharatNetra Initiative with the establishment of the Integrated Global Financial Technology Capability Hub (I-GFTCH) in Bhubaneswar. Through a four-pillar strategy - STEP (Space, Talent, Ecosystem and Policy) - the initiative aims to strengthen FinTech and InsurTech innovation while positioning Odisha as a gateway to world-class digital finance growth.
Leveraging Odisha’s strategic location on India’s eastern coast and its position within a multi-billion-dollar APAC financial technology corridor, BharatNetra is positioning the state as a gateway to world-class fintech growth and digital transformation. Under the broader I-GFTCH , Startup Réseau will operate a series of thematic bootcamps, incubation, and acceleration programs over the year.
Our first initiative for FinTech + InsurTech innovators and emerging ventures from Odisha, is a 1-day mentorship bootcamp designed to help founders strengthen business model viability, sharpen product–market fit and explore integration opportunities within the Government of Odisha’s digital and financial ecosystem. With deep domain expertise, personalised guidance and strategic ecosystem access, the bootcamp will serve as a crucial evaluation pathway for startups aiming to secure a place in the next phase - the Incubation Program.

As part of the lead-up to the Black Swan Summit 2026, scheduled for 5–6 February 2026 in Bhubaneswar, the BharatNetra Roadshow - Bhubaneswar will bring together startups, enterprises, financial institutions, investors, and ecosystem enablers from Odisha and India’s leading FinTech hubs. The roadshow will focus on exploring collaboration opportunities, identifying growth pathways, and sharing insights into how I-GFTCH aims to support Odisha’s emergence as a high-impact FinTech and InsurTech destination.
