What happens when you put talented university students in a room with a real business problem and give them 6 hours to solve it?
You get the Call Hero Hackathon.
Call Hero is bringing a real-world challenge to UTS: rethink the front desk.
Businesses lose customers every day because calls go unanswered, enquiries are missed, and staff are too busy to respond. Your challenge is to think beyond the traditional receptionist and create a smarter, more effective experience for the future.
💡 What you'll do
You'll work in a team of 3 to:
→ Understand a real-world business problem
→ Brainstorm and develop your solution
→ Build, prototype or pitch your idea
→ Present your solution at the end of the day
→ Compete for a place in the Top 3
You don't need to be a hardcore coder. We want creative thinkers, builders, entrepreneurs, designers, business minds and problem-solvers.
🏆 What's up for grabs?
The Top 3 individual performers will receive the opportunity to join a 3-month program with Call Hero, working on real projects and gaining practical exposure to an Australian technology startup.
Teams are formed in groups of 3, but assessment is individual.
