Community Walk to Climate Action

​Wondering how you can make changes in your community for local climate impact? Or are you curious about the connection between urban design and climate change?

​In this community walk, we will explore the Grandview-Woodland and Commercial Drive neighbourhoods, discussing how choices about urban infrastructure affect people’s lifestyle choices, and by extension their climate impact. We’ll also talk about small-scale actions that participants can implement in their local community, and how they can have a say in larger-scale actions taken on by local governments.

​The walk will take approximately 1.5-2 hours and will end with a social hour at a local restaurant.By registering for this event, you agree to share your information with the event organizers, PNW Climate Week, and Climatebase / the Climate Week Network.
