Community Walk to Climate Action

​How can you take climate action right now, just by going for a walk? What if you could improve your neighborhood at the same time?

​In this walk, we will explore the Grandview-Woodland and Commercial Drive neighbourhoods, discussing how decisions about urban infrastructure affect people’s lifestyle choices, and by extension their climate impact. We’ll also talk about small-scale actions that you can implement in your local community, and how you can have a say in larger-scale actions taken on by local governments.

​The walk will take approximately 1.5-2 hours and will end with a social hour at a local restaurant.
