How can we process network packets at high speed, and what happens when we bring the parallel computing power of GPUs into the picture? This hands-on workshop introduces the participants to DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit), a framework for high-performance packet processing, and to GPU programming with NVIDIA CUDA. We will explore how software can move beyond traditional CPU-based packet processing to take advantage of parallel computing for demanding networking tasks.
