BLOCK71 Dinner Club: Off The Record with Jozua Pung
BLOCK71 Dinner Club is a series of small group dinners for NUS students under the Student Entrepreneurship Community (SEC) initiative. The series is designed for honest, off-the-record conversations with experienced entrepreneurs, investors and those within the start-up ecosystem.
For this edition, we’re joined by Jozua Pung.
Jozua Pung is a venture capitalist at Genting Ventures and the founder of Bareborn, a men’s personal care brand built to eliminate the need for 10-step routines. After spending a decade battling overcomplicated products, he set out to create a solution that was simple, honest, and effective.
At Genting Ventures, Jozua invests in early-stage startups with disruptive technologies that align with the group’s core businesses in gaming and entertainment, leisure and hospitality, agriculture, Web3, and energy. Before joining Genting, he was part of Monk’s Hill Ventures, where he built the firm’s portfolio operations function and supported more than 40 portfolio companies across Southeast Asia. A graduate of SMU's MBA programme, Jozua also serves as an advisor to Protégé Ventures.
