About Event

Four weeks ago you started with a problem and an idea. Since then you've talked to users, tested your IUP, worked out your value and decided what to keep, change or drop. Closing Week is where you share what you learned and get feedback.

This isn't a pitch competition, and there's no polished demo required. Each team or builder gets 2–3 minutes to share what they set out to test, what broke, and what changed. Then peers and mentors respond with questions and honest feedback, so you leave knowing what to do next.

What we'll do

  • Share-outs: 2–3 minutes on what you learned and what changed

  • Peer and mentor feedback on each share-out, with Q&A

  • What's next: keep building, take it to Demo Night, or move on with what you've learned. All three count as success.

Bring: your story in 2–3 minutes. Where you started, what users told you, what broke and what you changed. Slides are optional, and evidence beats polish.

Who should come: all UW–Madison students. Sprint teams and individual builders will share. Anyone else is welcome to come listen, give feedback and see what students are building. You don't need to have attended BuildFest or earlier Sprint weeks.

The Four-Week Sprint
