Friday is our open co-working day. People come to work on their own projects, take breaks together, and usually stay through the afternoon. It's quiet, focused, and builder- and founder-led.
You can arrive anytime from 10AM. Most people show up after lunch and settle in before 1.30pm. Bring your laptop. Grab any open seat. Stay as long as you like.
At 1.30pm, we pause work briefly for a shared session called The Stage, then everyone goes back to working.
This is how Fridays here work.
The Stage @ 1.30pm
The Stage is a short, open-format session where builders and founders share something they are actively working on. A workflow, a technical breakdown, a lesson learned, or just a topic keeping them up at night.
The goal is to spark ideas you can try immediately after, during the same afternoon. After the session ends, most people simply open their laptops again and continue working.
Today's demos:
MetaScript: TypeScript at the Speed of C: Son will demo a TypeScript superset that compiles directly to native binaries, without Node or V8.
iOS App Usability Testing with Synthetic Users: Brent Deverman will demo a prototype that uses AI agents to simulate different kinds of users and run usability tests on iOS applications.
Agent Harnesses at the Edge: Arjun will showcase a new take on an agent harness that we're preparing to publish, alongside an RLM harness running directly on edge hardware.
CelestAI — AI-Native Business Platform: Tang Yu will demo an all-in-one platform helping startups and SMEs build their digital presence, manage operations, use AI agents, and find business opportunities.
Collaborative Product Development: Benjamin will demo Lightsprint, which helps product teams turn intent into mergeable code changes safely.
Personalized Software for Design Partner: Derek Wong will demo a pro bono project for his dog's favorite place in the world, saving time and reducing real business pain points.
AI Is Probabilistic. Regulated Investment Advice Cannot Be.: Markus Sun will demo a fully digital wealth advisor focused on personalised investment advice, beyond basket-based robo models.
How I Use AI to Build Landing Pages: Meng To will give a 5-minute demo of how he uses AI to build landing pages.
After the session, we go back to work.
