About Event
nearly 30 years after its release, la haine (1995) remains an essential and incendiary work of world cinema. a movie that refuses easy answers and forces us to confront uncomfortable truths, it depicts an urgent portrait of life on the margins of paris, set over 24 hours in the aftermath of a violent protest.
we'll gather in the nook's communal space (shoutout to their team who graciously offered it to us) for a special night of the best cinema and important conversations. expect a super comfy saturday night ambience followed by tentative afters at amelie!
ps. if you're planning to stay for afters, you might wanna wear something that takes you from screening to nightcap with ease. ( ;
