OPEN TO ALL!
Jashn-e-Noor welcomes everyone to two days of celebration.
Jashn-e-Noor is an annual festival curated by the simurgh communities every year for two days to celebrate not just their culture, but to also share the spirit of community and collective building with everyone who visits this festival.
The festival is free and open to all, subject to prior registration.
Side events mentioned in the form are currently open and seeking sign ups.

12 pm Onwards (Front Lawns) Embroidery Circle: Stitching Cross-border narratives & Kantha Conversations facilitated by Rafunama
2:30 pm Onwards (Library): Book Discussion (Walking Out, Speaking Up: Feminist Street Theatre in India) & Theatre Workshop
On Panel - Sheba Chhachhi, Mallika Taneja & Urvashi Butalia
1st November, 2026
12 pm Onwards (Library): Kahaniyon ke Naqoosh; A graphic narrative and storytelling workshop facilitated by Nithya (Reserved for women aged 35 and above)
12 pm Onwards (Front Lawns) Embroidery Circle: Down the memory lane with your AZEEZ CHEEZ facilitated by Rafooghar.
2 pm Onwards (Library) PARDA KHANI x Food & Memories: Exploring recipes through a storytelling of our shared journeys facilitated by Taran Khan and Tenzin Choedon
