Emerging Tech Breakfast Club
Emerging technology moves faster than we have time to understand and apply - so to meet the cadence of change we are kicking of the Emergent Tech Breakfast Club! 🌄
Every Tuesday morning enjoy coffee and tasty noms while Zak Morris and Bill Akins of Triton Ventures host a structured, candid, in-person gathering at North ROC in Bentonville.
We carve out a curated look at the week's most significant events and trends in emerging technology, followed by open discussion with the people in the room. The goal is to surface signal from noise, put it in context, and create the kind of conversation that helps connect with peers and think more clearly about what to do with the firehose of information.
─── HOW THE MORNING RUNS
8:30 AM — Doors open. Coffee, networking, low-key chaos.
8:50 AM — We kick off with a curated digest of the week's most significant signals: a major model release, a policy shift, a breach worth knowing about, a research paper that changes the frame.
9:15-9:45 AM — Open floor. Q&A, reactions, things the room has seen that we haven't.
9:45 - Skedaddle to your 10am appt.
WHAT WE TRACK (All things emergent)
AI & machine learning · Cybersecurity & risk · Policy & governance · Robotics & embodied intelligence · Open source releases · Data infrastructure · Health & biotech · Ethics, culture & society · And whatever else broke through the noise.
WHO THIS IS FOR
→ People building with or around emerging technology
→ Decision-makers who need to stay informed without being overwhelmed
→ Tinkerers, early adopters, and practitioners who want to compare notes
→ The curious and the cautiously apprehensive
The best conversations in this room happen between the person who just heard about a thing and the person who's been living inside it for six months.
Always free & Drop-in friendly
