Kitchener-Waterloo Infosec and Privacy Salon

​Kitchener-Waterloo Infosec and Privacy Salon (KWIPS) is an event where folks who are interested in infosec and privacy can come together, learn about a niche topic, and network with like-minded folks.

​For this inaugural KWIPS meeting, Michael Ossmann will be giving a short talk on GPS security, followed by a short Q+A session. Afterwards there will be an hour+ for you to get to know the other attendees.

​Our meeting will be taking place at Dirty Work Studio, which only has space for 20 people. If you want to attend and there are no more spots available, please message Straithe.07 on Signal or email b <at> straithe <dot> com and I will add you to a waiting list. If we get enough folks on the waiting list we will move to a bigger space.

​Please know that masks are required at this event. If you do not have a mask we will have some at the door.
