Kitchener-Waterloo Infosec and Privacy Salon
Kitchener-Waterloo Infosec and Privacy Salon (KWIPS) is an event where folks interested in information security and privacy can come together, learn about a niche topic, and network with like-minded folks.
For this inaugural KWIPS meeting, Michael Ossmann (https://mastodon.social/@mossmann) will give a short talk on GPS software attacks from the paper https://dl.acm.org/doi/epdf/10.1145/2382196.2382245, followed by a brief Q+A session. Afterward, there will be an hour+ for you to get to know the other attendees.
Our meeting will take place at KWartzlab. If you want to attend and there are no more spots available, please sign up for the waiting list. If we get at least 10 folks on the waiting list, we will move to a bigger space.
Please know that masks are required at this event. If you do not have a mask there will be some at the door.
