The Blind Pitch Social Night
Ever wanted to pitch a company you've never seen before... with total confidence?
UQIES is closing out the first half of semester with the Blind Pitch Social Night — where preparation is impossible and confidence is mandatory.
Here's how it works: small teams will spend the first half of the night crafting the most absurd, unhinged pitch deck they can imagine. Think: a subscription service for haunted furniture. A photo app that picks the worst photo. A device that makes horses autonomous.
Then the decks get shuffled.
Every team presents another team's pitch deck — completely blind. No preview. No context. No mercy. You open the slides and find out what you're selling at the same time as your audience.
The best pitchers won't have the best ideas. They'll be the ones who can sell anything with enough bravado to make a room full of people believe in a product that absolutely should not exist.
Come with a team or get matched with one on the night — all you need to bring is confidence and a willingness to commit to the bit.
