That tab in your browser, Copilot or ChatGPT or Gemini or whatever AI chat arrived at your job with a mandatory training nobody attended, can do more than answer one question at a time. Handed the right instructions, it will run a real job for you every week: check a deck against the twelve rules your legal and brand teams keep sending back, before you send it, or read ninety survey answers, group them by theme, count them, and tell you which complaint is actually the same complaint wearing three different hats.

What you'll leave with
Your agent prompt. One page, written by you, that turns a task you repeat every week into a job you hand off. Name, rules, what it gets handed, what it gives back.
Keep it in a doc, a note, wherever you keep things you'll use again. That's the point: it's a document, so nobody can take it away and it still works if your employer switches vendors next quarter. You paste it at the top of a chat, drop this week's material under it, and your agent shows up already knowing the job.
What "agent" means here
Not a robot, and not something you need IT or a budget for. An agent is a coworker you spec once and re-brief every week. It has a name, a job, rules it follows, material you hand it, and an output it gives back. Same as hiring someone, minus the interview.
We do all of it inside a plain chat window, which is the fun part. Everyone is waiting on the big agentic platform their company will roll out eventually. You don't have to wait. Most of what that platform will do for you, you can already fake convincingly with a text box and a good set of instructions.
