How to download and run your own private AI model using llama.cpp
How to choose the right model for your use case
How to tailor a model to your specific business or work needs
Why running it privately matters (no data leaving your machine)
Come prepared:
A laptop with at least 8GB RAM (Windows, Mac, or Linux) no high-end hardware needed
We'll be running Phi-3.1-mini-4k-instruct (a lightweight, quantized model) locally via llama.cpp
No downloads needed in advance, we'll set everything up together during the session
